Create an Account and Sign In
Select “Start Free” below to open the MeteVPN user dashboard and create an account with a username and password. No email address is required. Check your username before submitting, choose a unique password, and save it in a trusted password manager. Once your account is created, follow the dashboard prompts to sign in. If you already have an account, use the “Sign In” option in the navigation instead of creating another one.
Once you’re in the dashboard, first confirm that it shows your account, then check your plan. Orders, data, subscriptions, and support tickets are linked to the account you’re signed into, so use the same credentials across devices. Don’t post your password or subscription link in public forums. If you have trouble signing in, troubleshoot your account in the Help Center rather than repeatedly creating new accounts.
“Start Free” takes you to the account creation flow. Creating an account and activating a paid plan are separate steps. The next page shows the current plan prices and data allowances. Confirm that you can access the dashboard before choosing a plan, so you don’t confuse which account an order belongs to after payment.
Choose a Plan and Confirm Your Order
Open the plans section in the user dashboard. Choose a billing option based on how often you use the service, then check the data allowance. Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Monthly data resets on the plan’s activation date, not on the first day of each calendar month. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days; read the dashboard’s change details before proceeding.
If you use the service less often, consider a data package: ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, or ¥658 for 3000GB. Data packages remain available until used and never expire; they are billed differently from monthly plans, which reset each month. Check the terms on the Plans page, then return to the dashboard to choose an option. Don’t assume data renews monthly based on the price alone.
After choosing a plan, follow the dashboard steps to create an order. Check the amount and plan name, then pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. Return to the same account after payment to check the order and plan status. If the payment page shows a completed result but the dashboard hasn’t updated, refresh and check the original order before trying again. For help, use a dashboard support ticket to describe the order status. You can redact details unrelated to the issue from payment receipts.
All plans support unlimited devices and include a 60-day no-reason refund; see the Terms of Service for details. Once the dashboard shows an active plan or data package, continue to the subscription steps. If the order is still pending, resolve its status first rather than switching clients.
Get Your Subscription in the Dashboard
Open your account overview, check your plan status and remaining data, then find the subscription or import option. The subscription link gives the client your route configuration; it is not a node address to open one by one in a browser. If the dashboard offers formats for different clients, choose the one that matches yours. If you can’t find the right option, check the dashboard instructions instead of mixing link formats.
For a manual import, use the dashboard’s copy option to get the complete link, then switch to your client. Don’t remove anything after the question mark, or add spaces or line breaks. If the dashboard offers one-click import for your client, follow the prompts to open the installed app and confirm the import there. If your browser doesn’t open the app, use manual import instead; this doesn’t mean the subscription is invalid.
Keep your subscription link as securely as your account credentials. It may contain information used to identify your subscription, so don’t include it in screenshots, shared documents, or public code repositories. The example below uses a dummy value for reference only; it cannot be used to connect. Copy your actual link from the dashboard.
https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN
If you’ve shared a link publicly, stop sharing it and check whether the dashboard offers a reset option. If you’re unsure, contact support through a ticket. Once you have your subscription, go to the client download section to get the MeteVPN client for your system. You must be signed in to get the subscription, and installing a client does not import your account configuration.
Import oneach platform
Use the MeteVPN client offered in the dashboard whenever possible, choosing a version that supports the subscription format provided there. The client is available after sign-in for all platforms except iOS, where an active plan is required to access the download option. Start all downloads and subscription actions from the user dashboard; this guide doesn’t provide direct installer links. After installing, add your subscription before choosing a route. Don’t repeatedly try to connect with an empty configuration.
Windows: Add a Remote Subscription
Sign in and open the dashboard’s download section to get the MeteVPN desktop client for Windows. Install it as prompted, then open the app. Go to subscription or configuration management and look for “Add,” “Import from URL,” or a similar option. Paste the subscription link you copied. Use an account note as the name if helpful; don’t put your password in the configuration name. Save, update or refresh, and wait for the route list to appear.
Select the configuration you just imported, then open the connection or proxy page and choose a route. If the client has separate configuration and route lists, activate the configuration first, then choose a route from it. If you’re prompted to enable the system proxy or grant network permissions, read the prompt and check what it’s for. You don’t need to change unrelated system settings just to import a subscription.
macOS: Import and Check the Active Configuration
Get the MeteVPN desktop client for macOS from the dashboard, then install and open it. If macOS asks you to confirm that the app can open or requests network permissions, check the app details shown by the system before proceeding. If you see a warning, check the download section’s instructions rather than disabling system security features. Open the configuration, subscription, or remote configuration section, choose the option to add by URL, paste the dashboard link, and save.
After the update, confirm that the new configuration is active, not an empty configuration already in the app. Some controls are in the menu bar; use them to check the connection status and choose a route. Once the subscription is imported, keep only one proxy client running to avoid conflicting network control that can make connection results harder to diagnose.
Android: Allow the Network Connection
Sign in to the dashboard to get the Android version of the MeteVPN client, then install it as prompted by your device. Open the app and go to the subscription or configuration section. Add your subscription by importing from a link; if one-click import from the dashboard opens the app correctly, you can confirm the import there instead. Refresh the subscription, check that the region or route names appear, then choose a route to connect to.
The first time you connect, Android may ask to allow a VPN connection. Confirm that the request comes from the client you’re using before approving it. A VPN icon in the status bar only indicates that the network connection mechanism is enabled; continue to the next step to verify access. If the connection drops when the app is in the background, check your device’s background activity and battery settings for the client, and adjust them as prompted.
iOS: Get the Client Through an Active Plan
First, confirm in the dashboard that your plan is active, then open the download section to find the iOS client option. iOS access works differently from other platforms, so follow the option and instructions shown in the dashboard. After installing the client, return to the subscription section and use the import method provided for it. To add the subscription manually, paste the link into the client’s subscription, configuration, or URL import section, then save.
After updating the configuration, choose a route, connect, and follow the system prompts to allow a VPN configuration. If no routes appear after import, check the copied link and selected format. Don’t assume that installing the app means the subscription has loaded. If other VPN configurations are set up on the same device, make sure you’re using the client configured in these steps before verifying your exit details.
Whichever platform you use, the setup is complete when the client shows a recognizable subscription configuration, routes appear after an update, and you can select a route and connect. Linux users can also get a compatible client from the dashboard; follow the download section’s instructions. For platform-specific issues or import errors, see the Help Center. There’s no need to cover advanced configuration in this getting-started guide.
Connection and exitverification
Choose a route in the client and connect. Check that the active configuration, route name, and connection status match. For your first connection, choose a route in a region supported by the service you want to use. See the Routes page for regions and route types. MeteVPN covers 120+ countries / 190+ routes, but availability doesn’t mean every destination website accepts every exit region. Follow the destination service’s regional and account rules.
Before connecting, note your network details. Then connect in the client and check your exit information again on the Network Check page. Compare the results with the region of your chosen route, then open the website you want to use. If the check fails, first confirm that the page returned data; a blank result alone doesn’t prove the connection failed. A change in exit region also doesn’t prove that every app is using the proxy.
If the client says it’s connected but your browser’s exit details haven’t changed, check whether the system proxy is enabled, whether the browser has its own proxy extension, and whether the current rules send the check request directly. If the browser works but a particular app doesn’t, check whether that app has its own proxy settings. Temporarily close other proxy clients and test again to help distinguish a configuration conflict from a route issue.
If the route list is empty, return to the subscription update step. If routes appear but the connection won’t establish, check your local network, plan status, and remaining data, then try another route. Change one thing at a time and note what makes a difference; changing rules, the client, and the network all at once makes the cause hard to pinpoint. When submitting a support ticket, include your platform, the client message, the stage where it failed, and the selected region. Redact subscription links and account credentials from screenshots.
Once the destination website opens normally, setup is complete. For everyday use, keep your client configuration up to date and check your plan and data status in the dashboard. AI tools can have different requirements for region detection, persistent connections, and API access. For more detail, read the Complete AI Guide.
